Spring Elegance

Hello and Happy Spring! I have a new necklace up in my Etsy shop: Spring Elegance - Multicolor Pearl Necklace with Vintage Flower Brooch Pendant. This is a beautiful one-of-a-kind (OOAK) necklace from The Witchery. I've handcrafted this necklace from three strands of a variety of shapes and colors of freshwater pearls, with green, gold, cream, pink, cranberry, champagne, aqua and mint. It features a gorgeous pendant made from a vintage brooch with a gold-tone filigree frame and pretty pink rose on a pearlized background. The brooch can be removed and worn separately simply by gently opening the prong bail that holds it. The necklace can also be worn without the brooch. Check it out here! Thanks!

The lobster claw clasp, chain and all findings are sterling silver. The necklace is 15 inches in length up to 17 inches. The center drop in 1 1/2 inches in length.Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

~My Companion~ lampwork glass and gemstone necklace

In this beautiful necklace I have used a lampwork seahorse as the focal. It's just gorgeous! It has colors of apricot, sage green, blues, and amber. It dangles from a necklace made up of gemstones, pearls, crystals, and LOTS of sterling silver! From the seahorse going up along the sides are: pearls, then lime chalcedony briolettes, more pearls, Swarovski crystals in light sapphire matte ab and peridot matte ab, then we have ovals of kyanite, rondelles of nice blue flash labradorite, Bali sterling silver starfish, more pearls, prehnite rondelles with Swarovski aurum crystals in between, more of the light sapphire and peridot Swarovskis, more labradorite, another peridot Swarovski and then the nautilus shell hook clasp that is gorgeous! Dangling from the extender is a prehnite rondelle. All of this with all the sterling silver in between. Such a stunning creation! This necklace measures 18" in length but with the extender may be worn out to 20". The seahorse measures just under 2 1/2" from the top of it's bail to the bottom. Enjoy!!

Winner of the Metalchasers.com Valentine's Day Contest

It's now official! Today, I have been awarded the First Prize in the Metalchasers.com Valentine's Day jewelry design contest. My very first win!

I entered my Mexican Rainbow Obsidian Heart Pendant (sold) for the contest, wire wrapped in Sterling Silver and I tried to figure out a way to wire wrap it and be able to show both sides equally, since it's very pretty and different on each side.

When I actually started the wrapping process with the Sterling Silver wire, this gemstone kept dancing all over the place, and I kept saying "Be still, be still, my pretty heart..." - hence the name for this piece :)

It was a labor of love to wrap this little treasure, and a fun challenge too :)

Sunburst - Private Collection

Well, you know... there are times when you find a gorgeous focal bead and when you purchase it, you say to yourself "This one is for keeps, I'm going to do something special for me with it"... At the time, I didn't know what it would be, but last night, I saw it in my stash and I knew I had to do something with it now :-)

So, this is the result: I made a pure copper bangle style bracelet for myself with it. This artisan borosilicate lampwork focal is truly a piece of art, and I will treasure it forever...

If anyone would like a bangle, feel free to visit my Etsy shop and my Ruby Lane store for more of these and other high quality creations!
